Qualifi independently or through collaborative partnerships are able to provide accreditation in over 45 countries. We provide recognition through governments, employers, and universities to ensure students can progress into employment or further education, wherever they are.
Qualifi continue to maintain rigorous internal and external quality assurance processes in order to underpin the integrity and credibility of international qualifications.
Our training partners - schools, colleges, training providers, employers and other places of learning - need to satisfy strict quality measures before we approve them to deliver all accreditations. These quality measures encompass an institution's systems and processes; the credentials of teaching staff; facilities and premises; and the level and quality of support they provide to their students.
To offer any Qualifi qualification, you will need to obtain first centre approval and then qualification approval.
In order to satisfy our criteria for the conduct of delivery, support and assessments in appropriate surroundings, a member of our Qualifi staff - or a nominated representative from another organisation - will make an inspection of your centre. This is to ensure you are quality assured to deliver the appropriate programmes.
When your application has been approved, your centre will be classified as an approved centre.
Centre approval
Your journey to become an approved Qualifi centre starts with contacting Qualifi or one of our associated partners who act on behalf of Qualifi. We refer to these as our Quality Assurance Consultants (QAC).
Qualifi has a number of partners within the UK and international who assist with any documentation required and carry out the role of the QAC.
Qualifi or a QAC will talk to you about the process of accrediting your centre. They will also ensure that you receive the initial documentation for completion. This can either be completed ahead of your visit or during the visit.
Qualifi or your regional contact will make this appointment with you for a mutually convenient time.
The QAC visit
The visit from the QAC should last about half a day. During the visit, the QAC will review your existing quality systems, such as the number of candidates you may be expecting, your learning environment and ensuring that your assessment facilities are suitable. If you do not have the appropriate processes in place then the QAC will help you to develop guidance on how to satisfy the requirements as well as helping you to complete the centre approval forms.
How long will we take to process your application to become a centre?
Once we have received your centre application form we will review all documents and we normally take around 7 days to process them; after which time we will notify you of your acceptance or request further information.
A QAC visit may be required to ensure that any recommendations from Qualifi have been put in place.
Receiving approval status
Once your approval status has been agreed, we will confirm this with a letter and a certificate of recognition. At which stage the process is complete and you are able to commence enrolling candidates.

Approval visit
This is a co-opearative exercise which takes the form of an extended exchange of information. The aim of the visit is to gather information and evidence of your organisation's attitudes and approach to leadership and management development.
These will include:
Your organisation's ethos and working systems
Resources available - including staffing, accommodation, equipment, software, and appropriate delivery materials
Management and/or quality systems/procedures
Candidate support mechanisms
Records - candidate details, progress and achievements, quality processes
Review and evaluation procedures.
The QAC will feedback all findings to Qualifi and the centre. This will allow for a full review of processes and administration of delivery for the centre to be discussed. Any recommendations for improvements or recognition of credit will be identified.
When the process is completed the centre will sign a contract and have their approval confirmed for a period of 12 months. Centres can add on qualifications during this period, again in consultation with either Qualifi or a partner QAC.
